Blog

My first blog!
Being completely  ignorant as to what makes a good  or interesting blog I start by choosing a good photo of myself, not a recent  one but one to make a good impression.! My partner  Peter Norman & I have seen incredible changes in the  world of antiques since  starting our business in 1978.  We have managed to 'go with the flow'  during all the upheavals that we have witnessed . Flexibility is the name of the game  and so  we have become  proficient in restoring a wide range of antiques.  That makes us, (terrible  term) general dealers & restorers, a term that makes us difficult to pin down, especially on the net.  So having decided  to launch  ourselves on this site by highlighting  art restoration, my partner's  greatest skill, we hope that we may become more visible.  So far all our contacts have been made by satisfied customers passing our name on to other friends and we still feel that personal recommendation  is the cast iron method of  broadcasting our ourselves. But of course  there is a bigger world out there to be conquered! Well, let's see how it goes...........
